Hello everyone,

my name is Andrea and I am a one lucky soul, that you’ve decided to give a click on my site: Health is From Heaven Don’t dig your grave with your own knife and fork. I am no nutrition master, nor experienced trainer, but as most of you who decided to visit these pages, I am doing the best I can to learn to live a healthy life. Some days are easy, some days are difficult, but in both cases, I keep reminding myself of the higher purpose we’re all fighting for. This purpose is to have a healthy body that can carry us through our life journey, and a calm mind that will stay connected to the source. I wish you a happy reading and I am looking forward to learn from you.

  1. Andrea
I am fascinated by your writing and would like to know more about you. I am also a writer. You can contact me here on WordPress as wandama. Looking forward to chatting with you.

  2. I like the focus of your blog, Andrea. I have fought stage 4 pancreatic cancer with holistic treatments at first and now a little chemo here and there. Not enough is said about the positive effects of holistic treatments.

  3. I may have a problem—I walk through the park to the wee restaurant in the middle and have a latté there. Actually, rather than a problem that has to be the best of both worlds …

  4. Andrea, for my holistic treatments, I took loads of nutrients and supplements — many in super doses. I also underwent light frequency treatments as well as regressive memory treatments. The purpose was to strengthen my immune system to get ready for chemo at some point. I also stopped eating red meat and other foods that foster bad cell growth. I think these treatments are largely why I have had very little side effects from the chemo. I hope this helps. God bless you!

  5. Andrea, if you have already seen this, then I apologize for repetition, you might want to check out the website forksoverknives.com. There is a documentary plus a lot of information on keeping a health-supported diet. Take care. Derek

    • Hi Daniel,

I haven’t heard of 4 Hour Body but I am generally against any kind of strict diet. We all must listen to our bodies and understand what they need to be fit and healthy. What may work for one person, doesn’t have to work for another one…Listen to your body….that’s all you need 🙂

      Best,
      Andy

  9. There is no LIKE button on these computer internet caffes, drives me nuts, some times can´t even put a comment. Going to sue them. Anyways, thank´s for stopping by my crazy un paid blog. Now you are the second person that I follow that writes about a healthier life style, I´m not a bad cook and know somewhat about eating healthy not by choice but by necessity since due to my severe pancreatitis it´s quite crucial, and I´m only 31 years old, ever heard of a thirty one year old almost dying of pancreatitis, if not here is the first one. Looking forward to reading more of your post when muy life is not so hectic, and probably end up taking some notes too.
    Read ya.

    • Hi,

thank you very much for your nice comment 🙂 You’re right, it’s really soon for you to suffer from such a serious pancreatitis. Did you use to eat very unhealthy before you got it?? Thanks, I hope you will get some inspiration here…at least for healthy cooking….I am sure your pancreas will start smiling again once you start live healthily on a regular basis.

Good luck and stay in touch

      Best,
      Andrea

      • I got pancreatitis, 30% of my pancreas is dead tissue. Spend 18 days in ICU, and almost two months in hospital bed. Almost died really. I was drinking more than a sailor on leave, I was actually drinking like a sailor on leave and then back on the ship. Stoped that now, once in while I´ll slide, but very few times.

        Try to read ya soon!

      • I witnessed how a healthy person dying from alcoholism….please, don’t ever go back to it!!!! Alcoholism is a horrible addiction which can’t be taken back…. …Don’t ever let your body to come to the point where there won’t be any return button…

Sorry I haven’t acknowledged you sooner. I’ve been on the road with a poor signal and arguing with himself over possession of the laptop.
You have a great blog. “See” you again soon.

  18. Hi Andrea and thanks for the follow!

I get where you are going with your blog, It’s important to eat healthy, but I think I’m a cheater, and just goes for the whole “it’s important to eat”. Because I love food, I love to cook, and eating tasty food is a joy. But I’m less concerned about the healthy part, and more about making it from fresh produce and skipping out on pre-cooked stuff. I’m all about doing it from the bottom myself, and well, it does become more healthier that way, but what I consern myself with most and foremost is taste. Maybe one could combine it a bit more. making healthy tasty food, but I’m such a sucker for a big steak and fried bananas? yum yum yum ^^

    • Hi,

thanks for you kind and sincere comment 🙂 I also used to have a similar view couple of years ago and I think it’s absolutely right, just unrealistic anymore in this “chemical age”. I used to love baking, cooking whatever, trying new recipes, making my own…..and I believed that if I prepare them with love, it will only do good to my body. However, the food we buy in supermarkets has tremendously changed within last couple of years and our body simply can’t take it. GMO, chemicals in milk and wheat, oats with mold, meat full of hormones, sugar…..and list goes on 😦

Bio foods (not all of them are great of course) offer wide range of products that taste great if you have a good recipe. I will be uploading more recipes here so you can give some a try. The very first post I have in my blog is a salmon on a creamy sauce with potatoes or rice pasta…(my mum’s creation :)) Very very easy, very delicious!!

Give it a try and good luck 🙂
      Andrea

  19. Hi Andrea, thank you for stopping by my blog and following I really appreciate it. If anyone asked me what I most regret I think it would be not living a healthy lifestyle when I was younger. Since I was so thin, if I turned sideways I’d all but disappear, I picked up really bad eating habits and didn’t exercise much. Now that I’m older and my metabolism has slowed I’m experiencing up and down weight issues, body aches and other things that I probably could have avoided if I wasn’t so cavilier, but I digress. Hopefully I’ll find the inspiration I need to make the necessary lifestyle changes to live a truly fulfilled life. Thanks much.

    • Hi Stephanae,

thank you very much for your kind comment. I understand your regrets but I believe that human body is miraculous its capabilities to regenerate are more than surprising. Decide on a lifestyle you feel good about and I am sure your body start revitalizing together with your mind 🙂

      Stay in touch!!
      All the best,
      Andrea
